VALERIA TOURNOUR
HOW DID YOU BECOME A MASSAGE THERAPIST? WHAT IS YOUR BACKGROUND?
From the age of 20, I embarked on a series of long journeys to Asia (Thailand, India, China), during which I regularly received massages. This was a crucial discovery for me. Very quickly, I felt a strong desire to train myself to help my family and friends.
HOW WERE YOU BROUGHT TO WORK WITHIN THE MAINS DES BAINS ASSOCIATION AND SINCE WHEN?
In 2001, Margaretha, who was already working with the team, gave me the opportunity to join the Bains des Pâquis group. What a pleasure, what an opportunity, thank you!
WHY DO YOU ENJOY WORKING WITHIN THIS ASSOCIATION?
I enjoy working with the association for the magnificent location of the Bains, for its open-minded spirit, for the exchanges with colleagues, and for the pleasure of meeting such diverse new people.
WHICH MASSAGE TECHNIQUES DO YOU PRACTICE AT BAINS DES PÂQUIS?
At Bains des Pâquis, I practice muscle and relaxation massage, reflexology, and magnetism.
WHICH TECHNIQUES DO YOU PRACTICE IN YOUR PRIVATE PRACTICE? WHERE IS IT LOCATED?
Still connected to Asia, I offer Ayurvedic massages. I also train in yoga, a discipline that gives me strength and joy in daily life, both for my treatments and for helping the elderly I accompany in a retirement home.
My practice is located in Geneva.
