HOW DID YOU BECOME A MASSAGE THERAPIST? WHAT IS YOUR BACKGROUND?
My professional career has mainly been in teaching and personal development, but I have always been passionate about the human body, touch, and massage. I finally found the time and opportunity to turn my passion into a part-time profession.
HOW WERE YOU BROUGHT TO WORK WITHIN THE MAINS DES BAINS ASSOCIATION AND SINCE WHEN?
A regular at Bains des Pâquis since my arrival in Geneva in 1993, I always dreamed of practicing massage in this magical place once my training was complete. After opening my own practice, completing advanced training, and gaining experience, I was fortunate enough to see my dream come true in August 2020.
WHY DO YOU ENJOY WORKING WITHIN THIS ASSOCIATION?
Les Bains won me over immediately. They remind me of certain alternative venues I used to frequent in Bern. It is a magnificent place: the sauna, the restaurant, the multicultural and multigenerational atmosphere, the contact with nature—right by the water—the human warmth of the staff, and the values that have been preserved over time. I also find teamwork to be very enriching and stimulating. I enjoy sharing, exchanging, and learning with my colleagues.
WHICH MASSAGE TECHNIQUES DO YOU PRACTICE AT BAINS DES PÂQUIS?
Classic massage and anti-tension massage/trigger point therapy.
WHICH TECHNIQUES DO YOU PRACTICE IN YOUR PRIVATE PRACTICE? WHERE IS IT LOCATED?
My practice is located in Gland, where I offer the same techniques.
IN YOUR OPINION, IN FOUR WORDS, WHICH QUALITIES ARE ESSENTIAL TO BE A MASSAGE THERAPIST AT BAINS DES PÂQUIS?
Professionalism, kindness, humanity, and a positive attitude.
WHAT ARE YOUR PROJECTS?
There are still so many massages to discover and experience!
