HOW DID YOU BECOME A MASSAGE THERAPIST? WHAT IS YOUR BACKGROUND?

My previous trade wore me down over the years, which is why I decided on a career change. I wanted to leave craftsmanship behind while continuing to work with my hands. Massage was a revelation for me—a discovery of the body, both my own and those of others.

HOW DID YOU COME TO WORK FOR THE MAINS DES BAINS ASSOCIATION AND SINCE WHEN?

I arrived in Geneva in 1989, and the Bains des Pâquis quickly became an essential place for me. It was obvious that I wanted to practice my new profession there.

WHY DO YOU ENJOY WORKING WITHIN THIS ASSOCIATION?

What a fabulous team, with its different personalities, desires, and commitments, its highs and its lows! It is a close-knit team where everyone knows they will be supported during difficult times.

WHICH MASSAGE TECHNIQUES DO YOU PRACTICE AT THE BAINS DES PÂQUIS?

Classic massage and manual lymphatic drainage.

WHICH TECHNIQUES DO YOU PRACTICE IN YOUR PRIVATE PRACTICE? WHERE IS IT LOCATED?

At the moment, I no longer have a private practice.

IN YOUR OPINION, IN FOUR WORDS, WHICH QUALITIES ARE ESSENTIAL TO BE A MASSAGE THERAPIST AT THE BAINS DES PÂQUIS?

Loving life, people, and the Bains des Pâquis.

WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS?

There are so many… perhaps too many. Regarding massage, I want to further refine the techniques I practice and eventually open a new practice at the end of the year.
