HOW DID YOU BECOME A MASSAGE THERAPIST? WHAT IS YOUR BACKGROUND?

It was thanks to discovering this magnificent place, the Bains des Pâquis, as well as the various enthusiastic personalities within the association, that I wanted to become a massage therapist. After working in artistic development and dance, I trained in massage.

HOW WERE YOU BROUGHT TO WORK WITHIN THE MAINS DES BAINS ASSOCIATION AND SINCE WHEN?

Through a colleague who was already working within the association, who enabled me to join Mains des Bains in 2000.

WHY DO YOU ENJOY WORKING WITHIN THIS ASSOCIATION?

Multiplicity, plurals, nature, island, associative, simplicity, laughing and having fun.

WHICH MASSAGE TECHNIQUES DO YOU PRACTICE AT BAINS DES PÂQUIS?

Classic massage.

WHICH TECHNIQUES DO YOU PRACTICE IN YOUR PRIVATE PRACTICE? WHERE IS IT LOCATED?

Several directions are possible. First, a body-based approach, with different types of massage (classic massage, sports massage, Tanaka – which is a Japanese massage style –, yoga, bone-setting). Or alternatively with psycho-corporeal support: rebirth, hypnosis, thera-soma, EMDR (eye movements), olfactotherapy.

IN YOUR OPINION, IN FOUR WORDS, WHICH QUALITIES ARE ESSENTIAL TO BE A MASSAGE THERAPIST AT BAINS DES PÂQUIS?
